KRIPAL Earth Leakage Relay is a micro-mrocessor based electronic protection device designed to recognize current leakage to ensure the protection of electrical installations and persons against direct and indirect contacts.
KRIPAL micro-processor based digital earth leakage relay used for monitoring low-level leakage or unbalanced current, due to insulation loss on conductors or faulty equipment installed in the network. It
incorporates a real time continuous display of the earth leakage current value in true RMS ampere and allows
the isolation of the faulty network or equipment if necessary.
A ring-type current transformer is used to detect and provide the continuous measurement of the leakage
current.
